Sida is a traditional Ayurvedic herb known as Bala used as an adaptogen and nervous system tonic for energy and strength.
Similar to the tough disturbed grounds it grows in and strong & stiff root system it develops; this herb is for resiliency and strength. It stimulates the circulation, central nervous system and dilates the lungs to improve blood flow and oxygen intake if there is any restricted breathing like in a flu or asthma. It helps boost motivation and energy in post viral fatigue recovery and is antiviral itself.
The whole plant is used medicinally and has small quantities of ephedrine similar to ephedra but not as strong.
Caution: Sida should not be used during pregnancy or for trying to conceive. Causes stimulation due to the constituents.
