A plant belonging to the Nightshade or Solanaceae family, currently there are over 70 species of Tobacco plant recognised, most of which originate from North, Central and South America, where traditionally these species was often used in a ritualistic context, and were viewed as a powerful and sacred teacher plant.
This particular species is not the same that is now cultivated and consumed recreationally worldwide. It is instead a jungle variety from South America, a different species entirely, with a much more raw and unadulterated energy.
