Benzoin comes from the mighty Styrax benzoin tree, a towering forest being reaching up to 30 metres high, native to the mountainous regions of Sumatra, Indonesia. Its resin is considered the lifeblood of the tree — a sacred secretion with deep medicinal and energetic potency.
