Yoni steaming is a practice of using herbal steams as medicine, and can be found in many traditional cultures throughout the world from Africa and Morocco where it is still a vital practice, and Southern & Central America.
It is believed that it may nourish the tissues of the womb, and support the wombs natural tonifying and cleansing processes.
The specific effects are dependent on the herbs chosen, whose constituents when vaporised into steam travel upwards into the womb. There is also a practice of perineum steaming for men or women to cleanse the anus/colon. Traditionally this is done in Morocco post war for men, to heal the body from the grief of warfare.
We have 2 blends on offer to reconnect with your womb space and cleanse.
Harmony: A more cleansing blend used pre-bleed (towards the end of one’s cycle) to expel toxins from the tissues. This is a great way to prepare for fertility, as the cells must first detox.
Connection: A sensual blend to reform connection between the womb and heart space, used during ovulation (mid-cycle) to amplify this activated time. This is a great way to connect back in with one’s feminine Shakti energy, especially if there has been trauma to the area.
Directions:
You will want some way to squat above the steam in a pot.
There are a variety of ways to facilitate this process, such as using a specially designed chair with a hole cut in the seat, buying a plastic or wooden chair and cutting a hole in the seat area, or using a large stock pot (around 10 L), with edges of the top draped with a towel to make it comfortable to sit on. This last one could also be done in the shower just squatting over the pot. Y
ou may also need a blanket or something of a similar nature, to attempt to keep as much steam enclosed throughout the process. Make sure to use towels to keep all of the steam directing to one area. Make sure to wear socks and keep your lower region warm.
Do not Yoni steam during pregnancy or during menstruation.

Please store in a cool dark place, out of sunlight, heat & air exposure.
As an empowered and sovereign being, please conduct your own research, or consult your health practitioner, before deciding whether a herb is the right plant for you right now, and ensure there will be no interactions with any medications you may be using. If you are self-medicating, and have any worsening of symptoms, please stop use of the herb and seek the advice of a qualified professional.
