An aromatic blend of various plant ashes used historically in South America by shamans and healers for cleansing, healing, and grounding as well as an adjunct in shamanic rituals. The plant matter used is rendered into a fine and pure ash where other medicines are then added into it.
‘Starlight’ rapé is a blend of Cumaula/Epená and Tsuno ash (Platycyamus regnellii), a personal favourite that is energizing and cleansing. The tall tree Cumala grows at low altitudes of the Amazon, with high amounts of strong alkaloids that make for a magickal touch. The blend is light and clearing.
Sourced from the Katukina tribe in the Amazon region of North-Western Brazil, along the Jutaí River region from the state of Acre to Amazonas. Katukina is a name designated from the Brazilian government referring to different indigenous linguisitc groups of this area.
The 6 clans are: Varinawa (people of the Sun), Kamanawa (people of the Jaguar), Satanawa (people of the Otter), Waninawa (people of the Peachpalm), Nainawa (people of the Sky) and Numanawa (people of the Dove).
