Bursera graveolens also known as Palo Santo is an aromatic tree whose wood is rich in volatile oils. It grows throughout Southern and Central America, and is used traditionally as an incense for grounding, clearing and purifying. The beautiful aroma of the wood has a calming effect when burned, smudged or vaporised.

The tree is considered sacred. Although our Palo Santo comes from a sustainable harvesting source, we ask that you use it with full intention and respect of it’s rarity. We suggest you keep it for high ceremony.

If you are looking for a space clearer that is more abundant, we recommend the Tribe Earth Native Incense, our Australian Native Mister Spray or our Smudging Herbs from European lineages.
