An aromatic blend of various plant ashes used historically in South America by shamans and healers for cleansing, healing, and grounding as well as an adjunct in shamanic rituals. The plant matter used is rendered into a fine and pure ash where other medicines are then added into it.
The ‘Jaguar Tree’ blend of rapé, (pronounced har-pay) is a relaxing feel-good blend. The main herb it contains is Theobroma bicolor, which is white cacao, referred to as macambo. This cousin of commercial cacao stimulates serotonin, bringing a mood boost & cerebral element, even a kick of energy when required.
Sourced from the Kanamari tribe (related to Katukina) in the Amazon region of North-Western Brazil, in the state of Amazonas. The Kanamari are a particularly isolated tribe, having only had contact with the outer-Amazonic world for 150 years. They refer to themselves as Canamari or Tukuna, which means people, and don facial tattoos. They are known to be powerful curandeiros; plant medicine healers.
Medicine from this particular small tribe of Kanamari (of just 60 people) is prepared by a 70 year old elder woman who works with magickal plants as medicine. This tribe uses rapé for celebration, work, for treating sickness, and even punishing others to teach lessons.
Please note this is the rapé only, and the kuripe pipe is not included.
Sold as incense/offerings for ritual & ceremony only.
Please store in a cool dark place, out of sunlight, heat & air exposure.
