An aromatic blend of various plant ashes used historically in South America by shamans and healers for cleansing, healing, and grounding as well as an adjunct in shamanic rituals.
The plant matter used is rendered into a fine and pure ash where other medicines are then added into it.
The ‘Grounding’ blend of rapé, (pronounced har-pay) contains the plants Capirona/Mulateiro (Cacylophyllum spruceanum) which is documented to have high phenols, organic acids as well as antioxidants, making it a grounding and smooth blend. Its combined spirit alkaloids from the other main teacher plant work on the serotonin receptors, supporting a deep connection to the jungle by clearing mental chatter, and when taken at higher doses, can also impart other effects. This product is perfect to work with in combination with the Madre.
Sourced from the Nukini tribe in the central Amazon region of North-Western Brazil, in the state of Acre. Medicine from the Nukini tribe is usually created by the women of the tribe, who have an intricate and private knowledge of plant world which they keep alive intergenerationally.
