Heirloom white cacao from Chiapas, Mexico — heart-opening and rich in theobromine and tradition.
Theobroma cacao, meaning “food of the gods,” has been revered for millennia across Mesoamerica for both ceremony and daily nourishment. This heirloom variety is cultivated by a co-operative of 35 families in Southern Mexico who honour the traditional fermentation and light roasting practices that bring out the cacao’s full flavour and potency.
This cacao is known to be lighter on the system, gently opening the heart and uplifting the spirit. Traditionally used to enhance connection, mood, and presence, it contains naturally occurring theobromine, magnesium, and phenethylamine compounds that may support clarity, awareness, and vitality.
Enjoyed as a ceremonial drink or simple hot chocolate, this cacao can be combined with warming spices such as chilli, cinnamon, or cardamom and lightly sweetened to taste.
This product is 100% pure heirloom cacao paste, organically grown by communities in Chiapas.
