An aromatic blend of various plant ashes used historically in South America by shamans and healers for cleansing, healing, and grounding as well as an adjunct in shamanic rituals. The plant matter used is rendered into a fine and pure ash where other medicines are then added into it.
The ‘Energising’ blend of rapé, (pronounced har-pay) contains the plants Chakruna and Capirona/Mulateiro (Calycophyllum spruceanum) which is documented to have high phenols, organic acids as well as antioxidants and may be useful for the healing of wounds, making it a potentially stimulating and invigorating blend with reported antimicrobial and antifungal qualities.
This grounding rapé opens the mind to spiritual exploration and is great in combination with meditation ceremonies with a more masculine energy. It has been prepared by an elder woman of the tribe who sings to and thanks the plants as she harvests them, a ritual learnt from her grandmother which she believes empowers the medicine.
Sourced from the Nukini tribe in the central Amazon region of North-Western Brazil, in the state of Acre. Medicine from the Nukini tribe is usually created by the women of the tribe, who have an intricate and private knowledge of plant world which they keep alive intergenerationally.
Please note this is the rapé only, and the kuripe pipe is not included.
Sold as incense/offerings for ritual & ceremony only.
Please store in a cool dark place, out of sunlight, heat & air exposure.
