A synergistic blend of Australian botanicals, formulated with the intention to nurture the embodied remembrance of our deep connection to land and spirit; and create an atmospheric and visceral recall of the experience of traversing through Australian deserts and scrubland.

Four Australian natives have been blended together for a woody & fresh aroma. Use as incense or as an alter offering, by burying under plants or throwing in the fire to amplify intentions in ceremony.

Australian Blue Cypress Pine:
From the Cupressaceae family, this plant is native to the Northern Territory, known locally in Indigenous dialects as Karnitirrikani in Tiwi, Gangi/Lanapu in Djambarrpu, Munlark in Rembarrnga, Katanj in Jawony. The bark of the plant is used, as well as the resin for an incredibly purifying aroma. The smell of a fresh woodland.

Raspberry Jam Wattle:
From the Mimosoideae family, this age old plant teacher grows in the South-West of Western Australia fixing nitrogen into the soil to provide food for surrounding plants, such as Quandong and Sandalwood, making it an excellent companion or host species. Known as Manjart, Munertor, Mungaitch or Mungat to the Indigenous Noongar peoples. This plant as active tryptamine alkaloids in it’s bark, root bark and phylloids.

Weeping Tea Tree:
From the Myrtaceae family, this ancient gum tree has weeping foliage attracting all kinds of insects, frogs and wildlife, protected in its graceful leaf cover. Native to the Northern Territory, the tree likes to grow near waterways. The early settlers made tea from its leaves.

Sandalwood:
Known to the Noongar Aboriginal peoples as Uilarac, Waang, Wolgol, or Wollgat, the Sandalwood is native to Western Australia belonging to the Santalaceae family.

Sandalwood oil provides a huge income for Western Australia and is a valuable essential oil, wood and resource. This plant lives in a semi-parasitic relationship with the roots of a host tree, often the Acacia acuminata, requiring macro nutrients from the tree. The tree nuts are a delicious delicacy!
