Known botanically as Acorus calamus; colloquially as Calamus or sweet flag, and traditionally in Hindi and Sanskrit as Vacha, this is a reed plant that grows in muddy marshlands and waters. This is made from organic calamus root in a powder form.
Traditionally in Ayurvedic medicine, the root of this plant is used in small amounts to promote digestion, cognition, mental clarity, the sound of the voice, and for a range of other ailments.
It was held in high regard by Yogis, and was considered to be a plant that would promote and accelerate the journey of development that the soul takes during its journey whilst physically incarnated.
This plant is also considered by some to be beneficial while trying to clear and balance the brain while recovering after periods of excessive cannabis use.
Please store in a cool dark place, out of sunlight, heat & air exposure.
